Based on the record of Department of Tourism-Region 10, Cagayan de Oro and Misamis Oriental remain the favored destination for tourists in Northern Mindanao. For the past five years, Cagayan de Oro and Misamis Oriental garnered more than 50% of tourists’ arrival regionwide, followed by Camiguin.
