Most of the hotels are in Cagayan de Oro. One of the classified first-class hotels is Pryce Plaza, which is on top of Carmen Hill, overlooking the city and the Macajalar Bay.
Recently
, two new hotels opened in the city, the Korean-owned, 50-room Koresco, classified as a leisure and first-class hotel, and the 120-room Mallberry, a business hotel inside Limketkai Center.
At least four other hotels offer amenities comparable to those in big cities like Cebu and Manila. There are also two
beach hotels -- one in the city and the other in Opol.
